2019 Service Project / A special collaborative project
In addition to the Wednesday, September 18, 2019 "Undoing Racism Day" event, the partnership that year between Heeding God's Call to End Gun Violence and the CommUNITY Breakfast Collaborative provided an additional opportunity to work together, and connected other organizations to the issue of ending gun violence as well.

"Memorial to the Lost" of Heeding God's Call to End Gun Violence
Friday, September 20 2019, the CommUNITY Breakfast Collaborative facilitated the installation of the "Memorial to the Lost" of Heeding God's Call to End Gun Violence, bringing together faculty, staff and student volunteers from Villanova University, Valley Forge Military College as well as community volunteers from a variety of faith communities and civic organizations to participate. The "Memorial to the Lost" was installed on the front lawn of Villanova University in front of the Augustinian monastery; the Augustinians began their work in Philadelphia before moving out to Villanova and founding the University. The tee-shirt Memorial represented those in Philadelphia murdered, by "homicide by gun" in 2018. The name of each person remembered is written on a tee shirt, draped on a PVC tee frame and mounted on a piece of rebar for stability.
